Come and join us this Easter holidays for some wildlife fun!

The time has come for Ducklings, Leverets, Dragonflies, Butterflies, Bumblebees and many more! Spring has certainly sprung!

Our Easter Activities for children are a great way for little ones to breath in fresh air, listen to birdsong and connect with Nature, finishing with a yummy Easter treat!

This activity will be running from every day 4th to 18th April (except Tues 12th)

11am until 12pm

11am - Welcome and introduction at our Cowshed Café outdoor seating area

11:05am - Head off keeping a lookout for hens on nests and hatching chicks!

11:15am - We're going on a bug hunt! Along the way we'll complete an insect tick sheet and search for Butterflies, Bumblebees, Dragonflies and Damselflies!

11:30am - Arrive at The Schoolhouse building in search for Little Owls and possible Cuckoo calling

11:45am - Arrive back at the greenhouse for a tasty Easter treat on a blanket next to the hay meadow

12:00pm - Finish

There will be a maximum of 8 children able to join the activity.

This event is by pre booked ticket only - £7 per child (no cost for accompanying adult/s

Please note adults must purchase a day ticket for the Reserve but children under 16s go free.
Day tickets cover visitors from 9am until 5pm, so please feel to arrive before and explore after your activity to enjoy the reserve and our facilities. Our café will be open from 9:30am until 4:30pm daily with Tea, Coffee, Cake and light lunches.

If you are a staying guest, please do let us know so that we can work around your supper arrangements!
Binoculars are available to hire - £5 each

Covid details: This activity will be walking outside and our guide will ensure a reasonable distance is kept to at all times. The loos and hides are open under strict hygiene protocols. Hand sanitiser is available at various points.
