Autumn 2021 Update

Our accommodation is well spaced in nature to allow you to come and unwind amongst the wildlife. With 3,300 acres to explore social distancing is what we do best!

It remains our priority that our guests and our team feel safe and comfortable, and we're very fortunate with so much space in nature that we can keep your stay or visit relaxed. Please find below information on our approach and measures, you can read detailed information here.

Ensuring you are comfortable
Mask wearing and distancing is now a personal choice. The following measures are in place to reduce risk to you, but we do understand if at the moment you do not feel comfortable to be in shared spaces. We would be very happy to deliver meals for you to enjoy in your accommodation and offer contactless communications with our team. Please do let our staff know in advance of your stay.

Masks
Guests are no longer required to wear masks, but please do wear one if you prefer. We have also given our staff the choice whether to wear a mask, but if you would prefer them to wear a mask when communicating with you, please do just ask.

Table service
We are continuing with table service in Kingshill Farmhouse, partly as its much more relaxed for our guests. If you need something you are welcome to come to the bar, and our staff will request guests keep space.

Distancing
We're lucky with the beautiful Linhay and Farmhouse that we have the space to operate distanced tables whilst still retaining its character. The Kingshill Farmhouse bar is spread through the three reception rooms allowing plenty of space for guests to be separate. Tables are placed between the Kitchen and Dining Room. Please be aware that on busier evenings we do may not be able to offer 2m between guests. Please do speak to staff if you would prefer a distanced table or would rather have meals delivered.

Ventilation
As weather allows we will have windows and doors open for ventilation in Kingshill Farmhouse. As a rustic space The Linhay is naturally ventilated.

Please do also enjoy the seating outside in The Farmyard.

Check-in and check out
To ensure we can continue enhanced cleaning and ensure accommodation has a good airing before our staff enter and between guests we are keeping our 3.30pm check in and 10.30am check out. You are very welcome to enjoy the Reserve before and after your stay, and tea, coffee and cake will be available!

There is optional self check in and check out. You may not see our team in person, but they will be there throughout your stay and can be contacted at all times by telephone. Please do let us know in advance if you wish to self check in. We are still cashless.

Cleaning
We are continuing our enhanced cleaning and hygiene protocols for accommodation changeovers and shared areas. This includes following strict hand washing guidance and having hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available. The additional hygiene measures can impact the environment, so we have thought very carefully how to implement these with minimal additional environmental impact, so please read more on this here.

Symptoms
We request that guests do not come if they are displaying COVID symptoms, a positive test or have been told to isolate by NHS Track and Trace. Please note we will not admit any guests with suspected symptoms. We follow the same policy with our team.

Future booking
We are open for future bookings, and we very much look forward to welcoming you for a visit or a stay. Future bookings are under flexible terms so you can arrange an escape into nature without any worries

Please do note that bookings must follow the rules in place date of your stay or visit. If you aren’t sure please get in touch or visit the Government roadmap here.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes

Gareth, Georgina and the Elmley Team
